Job Requirements

Responsible for the supervision of store operations and maintaining the highest Krispy Kreme standards of product, guest service and cleanliness.  Leads a team of Guest Service Representatives, Production and Processing that exceed Team Member expectations.  Promotes teamwork in all aspects of the store, and supports the development of all Team Members.  Projects a positive “can-do” attitude.

DUTIES: Includes the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Be able to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
  • Get along with others and be a team player
  • Be genuinely committed to ensuring that the overall guest experience exceeds expectations, including greeting guests with a warm, sincere smile and anticipating their needs
  • Use tact and good judgment when dealing with guest challenges, responding to guest needs with patience and courtesy
  • Be proficient in all job functions and workstations and act as a role model for Team Member focused service
  • Handle all Team Member inquiries and situations in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
  • Assist, support and direct the crew in all production, processing, retail and utility operations
  • Monitor quality of product and service
  • Ensure all Team Members are focused on “Creating Magic Moments” for the guest
  • Assist with the training, development and retention of Team Members
  • Interact with, direct and assist with supervising employees on a daily basis in a fair and dignified manner
  • Refer all employee issues directly to managers/General Manager
  • Assist Management Team with execution and follow up of all training, assessments and recognition programs
  • Enforce company policies and procedures in a consistent manner 
  • Assist in handling a variety of managerial functions, including but not limited to: interviewing; hiring; ordering; scheduling; inventories; daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork; cash till handling
  • Understand the production piece of the Krispy Kreme operation
  • Make timely and accurate production calls to prevent outages while minimizing waste
  • Promote awareness of safety and sanitation standards to all Team Members
  • Complete certification on walkie/stakie (forklift equipment) and lock out/tag out (electrical label procedures)
  • Assist management efforts to meet or exceed all financial goals and objectives by controlling labor, product and other cost areas
  • Perform calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Communicate problems to management immediately
  • Maintain awareness of doughnut inventory
  • Communicate cordially, effectively, and clearly with all Team Members, managers, supervisors, vendors and guests
  • Ensure that all food items are correctly recorded on computer register system
  • Maintain clean and orderly work area throughout shift and leave it ready for business for the following shift
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation (including handwashing) guidelines and procedures
  • Be proficient in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment, including retail area equipment such as Micros register system, coffee machines, drive-thru systems, etc.
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Other duties will be assigned as needed


  • Communicate in English in order to comprehend and perform/follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
  • Perform more than one task at a time, calmly and effectively in an extremely busy and stressful work environment
  • Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels
  • Lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, including production and processing equipment if necessary
  • Be able to stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven and slick surfaces
