Job Requirements

Responsible for overseeing the entire operation of multiple restaurants and the development of his/her management staff.  Work with the management team in setting the direction of the business in day to day operations as well as a plan to grow the business, drive sales and manage costs.

DUTIES

  • Be accountable for all facets of restaurant operations
  • Oversee, monitor and be responsible for all financial aspects of the restaurants under your control.
  • Review and calibrate systems for sales and labor forecasting; coach team accordingly
  • Oversee and ensure accuracy of financial reporting
  • Develop management team in areas including personal growth, operational and financial knowledge, interpersonal skills, and organizational techniques
  • Cultivate good relationships and foster an atmosphere of team work among managers and employees
  • Assist Director of Operations in new store openings and new site selections where appropriate
  • Write agenda for and conduct periodic management meetings 
  • Oversee that comps and voids are conducted per established procedure and are valid
  • Oversee the interviewing, hiring, documenting, training and supervision all management employees          
  • Organize and conduct periodic informational seminars for managers and employees
  • Assure compliance with and uphold applicable policies and requirements of employment laws
  • Become proficient in the use of equipment and utensils related to the operation of the restaurant
  • Maintain food quality standards including consistency and presentation
  • Comprehend and adhere to sanitation guidelines as prescribed by state and city codes
  • Communicate repair and maintenance needs to Director of Operations and/or appropriate repair source
  • Schedule, conduct and document management and/or employee reviews according to standard operating procedures
  • Identify, address and document individual management discipline problems according to standard operating procedure
  • Follow KremeWorks termination procedures
  • Complete projects as assigned in a timely manner
  • Be able to perform and train job functions of positions alone and without assistance if necessary
  • Communicate cordially, effectively and clearly with employees and co-workers
  • Refrain from smoking for the duration of the shift
  • Adhere to standard "zoning" procedures and train managers to do the same
  • Read appropriate KremeWorks Intercompany Memorandums
  • Attend appropriate management meetings and informational seminars
  • Review Krispy Kreme service evaluations and make appropriate adjustments
  • Review food item sales data and product mix reports and make appropriate adjustments
  • Research current industry trends and effect changes accordingly
  • Cultivate personal growth and entrepreneurial skills based on reviews and feedback from supervisors
  • Establish a rapport with guests to promote goodwill and solicit opinions and ideas
  • Address customer complaints and problems effectively and courteously on an as-needed basis
  • Maintain a well manicured appearance and comply with and enforce the dress code for all managers/employees.
  • Make appropriate judgment calls under stressful conditions including customer/employee-related issues
  • Follow proper hand washing procedure
  • Be responsible for the material in the KremeWorks Employee Safety Manual and Team Member Handbook
  • Enforce KremeWorks rules and regulations
  • Ensure that proper POP , menus, and promotional materials are displayed in the stores
  • Provide or obtain proper documentation of state and city sanitation certification
  • Read and comprehend a fundraising contract
  • Read and comprehend a purchase order
  • Project a courteous, confident and flexible attitude
  • Work a variable and flexible schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Perform in limited physical space with variable atmospheric conditions including ventilation, smoke and extreme temperatures
  • May not take or give away any unauthorized company property including food or beverage
  • May not work under the influence of alcohol or other mood altering substances
  • Communicate in English in order to comprehend and perform/follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
  • Perform more than one task at a time, calmly and effectively in an extremely busy and stressful work environment
  • Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature level
  • Lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment
  • Be able to stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven and slick surfaces
